New Year’s Day Service: January 1, 2017

Good Morning Family,
The New Year’s Day Service will run from 10:00 A.M.
to 11:00 A.M. on January 1, 2017. No Sunday School that day. Hope to see you there.
It is possible for great changes to come into a person’s life by the impact of one moment. We can get new direction or better Christian discipline as a result of a wake up call. I think of a young man of 16 who was in my youth group years ago. After hearing about Isaiah 6 he came after I spoke and said, “ That’s it. I know what I am to do with my life!” I was thinking it might be a burst of youthful enthusiasm that would last a day or two only. I was wrong. He immediately trained himself is Spanish, took some formal training in ministry, moved to Mexico after college and was a missionary in Mexico for over 20 years. In all that time they home schooled the kids, lived in poverty, boiled all their water, and helped many people meet Jesus, entering into eternal life.
Are we willing to change? So much focus on finding our place in this world. I think the world has found its place in us. Discomfort in this world is the open door to joy in the Spirit, even as we live in this world, because our life hidden with Christ shines through us even now. Ephesians 3:16-21. JWP
