SHARP POINTY THINGS (MEN’S GROUP)

SHARP POINTY THINGS (MEN’S GROUP): Tuesday 6:30pm at the Petty Home. Topic: Lessons Learned….Lessons Passed On.

The title is kinda vague, I know. The inspiration for it comes from two articles: one that was published recently, and one that I read when it came out in 2004. In both, we see examples of children who, despite reaching the age of adulthood, never BECOME adults. And, in that, we see how those trends are affecting our world. So, I thought we could discuss what lessons we have learned in our lives that this new generation haven’t….lessons about life, faith, manliness, and God. I also want us to discuss how we can pass those lessons on to the next generation…whether they are family, coworkers, fellow church members, or those in our general circle of associates. One of Maxwell’s Maxims for Manly Men is that MANLY MEN BUILD MANLY MEN. Let’s draft our blueprint together….
